Latest Project: A Father's Day Documentary. My first solo documentary project. I wrote, produced and directed and edited this film, with camera work provided by my son (13 years old). I sat down to chat with dads about what an honor is it to be a dad.
“A Father’s Day” is a carefully crafted deep-dive into the world of being a father and the trials, triumphs and politics of fatherhood. It’s a documentary about one of our most important relationships: The one between fathers and their children. It explores how our ideas of masculinity, vulnerability and power work as we grow from boy to man to father.
