Factor Over Form
For Hyphen Press' upcoming Almanack which catalogued the year's books to lookout for, design had to play second fiddle to the overall form of the book. Above all else, this was about utility.
As Light as a Feather
Inspired by the renowned Hochul's interview, who featured in the catalogue, the Almanac's design form took one of transportability rather than beauty. A pocket sized Almanac, easy to carry and even easier to read. Text took priority over imagery, and typography style reflected the particular content on display on that page.
