Dutch athletes
Internal project at my old internship, assignment was to make illustrations of one of the biggest athletes from The Netherlands. In order to put it into Adobe Character Animator, the program allows you to import artwork in order to capture your performance using the camera, microphone, keyboard and mouse. It captures your facial expressions.
Do you know the names of these nine dutch athletes? Each on their own characteristics.

First things first; finding out which atletes are most known by the Dutch people and has the most recognizable features which can easily be recognized in a Illustration.
Step 2; creating a moldboard in various art styles, I really liked the cute Trump illustration. Good proportions with a cute outlook, slim design.
Early progress of Max, as you can see I did not do lot of sketching beforehand. Mostly straight outta my mind and into the artboard, hence I already had a look in mind.
