From doing this project, I learned how to make a flat avatar based on speed art videos.  I also made use of shapes to add depth and shading to my art.  The most challenging part of this project was deciding on certain shapes for the hair, shirt, and face as some shapes looked weird or off.  Overall, I think I executed the shirt very well and most of the hair as well.  If I could improve this project, I'd add more smaller details to add a little more depth to the character.
