Como proposta da matéria de Projeto I, tive que desenvolver uma identidade visual e materiais de grandes mídias impressas. O evento escolhido foi o Dekmantel, festival holandês de música eletrônica que acontece há dois anos em São Paulo, e desenvolvi uma identidade fictícia para o evento de 2019.
As an assignment for Project I class, I had to develop a visual identity and materials of large print media. The chosen event was Dekmantel, the dutch festival of electronic music that occurs since 2017 in São Paulo, and I developed a fictitious identity for 2019's event.
Para transmitir a ideia de "forma do som", criei duas composições com formas que se transformam e expandem de acordo com a batida de músicas pré-selecionadas. Também quis que as texturas lembrassem o concreto e a arquitetura da cidade de São Paulo e ao mesmo tempo, a diversidade sonora do evento.
To transmit the idea of "sound's shape", I created two compositions with forms that transform and expand according to the beat of pre-selected songs. I also wanted the texture to remember São Paulo's concrete and architecture and at the same time, the event's sound diversity.
Também foi desenvolvida uma animação para o conceito de uma instalação como forma de divulgação do evento. A ideia seria uma grande tela com a animação de umas das formas da textura se movendo em looping e quando o usuário coloca a mão sobre a tela, o volume aumenta e a animação se transforma.
An animation was also developed for the concept of an installation as a way of publicizing the event. The idea would be a large screen with the animation of one of the composition's shapes moving on looping and when the user puts his hand on the screen, the volume increases and the animation transforms it self.
Dekmantel's logo and typeface used in this project aren't the ones used by them, 'cause they use a stylized font wich it's not available on the internet.
