Some researches for my master's degree's graduate work.
I chose to work on Yokais (some little imaginaire creatures in traditional Chinese culture). I chose 8 Yokais to put them in the modern cities, besides their stories existing in some folk stories, I made up their "modern stories". I worked on typographies and pictogrammes to explain graphicly their specialises.
Erzhongrens（耳中人）are some Yokais who stay in peoples' ears, who speak to us.
Jinhuamaos （金华猫）are some special cats, after being kept by their masters for several years, they start to climb up to the roof and stare to the moon. A while later, they start to have people's appearances and on that instant, they're Yokais.
Mos (貘）are some monsters who eat people's dreams.
Mumeis （木魅）are little elfs of trees.
Wushangs （无伤） are some little "human beings" who live underground.
Zhuanyushis（啭语石）are some rocks who talk to people.
Zhaiyaos （宅妖）are Yokais who turned by furnitures.
