The purpose of this magazine is to elucidate the discarded. From abandoned houses and neighbourhoods to people living on the outskirts of sociey. Using my own UE photographies together with portraits of homeless people, I explored the limits and possibilites in editorial design.
The content is displayed through a mixture of traditional layout with my fondness for the broken and imperfect.
'Avfärdat' is swedish for 'discarded'.
The font used for headlines is Horst, a monospaced blackletter designed by Falk Schwalbe.
