Package Design: Diary Products

The task was to produce flexible brand-graphic set for low-segment diary product. The job doesn't look complicated from the start. After examining the market I realize that I was wrong. Category rules appears to be very strict - especially in color usage and semantics. So starting from the logo I try to do something light-looking inside that frames.
Here are two versions of milk design - approved one and my favourite, that I place first. To my mind, too much color (and too much elements too) harms light milky look that is the must of category design. I realize the importance of instant product definition on the shelf and the role of color in that, but still….please decide yourself.
My ligth-looking approach was accepted in sour cream and cottage cheese packaging. I like the contast between bright caps and tiny cans.
One more thing to say - Im sorry to admit that this nice vector grass was bought in Shutterstock. Respect to the author, then - it's really something when you see it close!
