Have you ever wanted to have a powerful and well-designed tool for exploring typefaces? A highly illustrative yet simple interface with all existing typefaces in its database, so you can seamlessly explore, compare and finally select the beloved ones for your current or future projects? Such interface has not been made yet. My design concept with its distinctive infographic approach aims to fill that gap.

Choose any number of typeface features, general and more specific, to get relevant typefaces.
Explore the search results in three different modes. Character preview is the most compact one.
Paragraph preview shows typefaces in a form of long written material.
In the sample sentence mode, you can instantly preview all available font styles of every typeface shown.
Type your own text sample on any page and zoom in to examine characters close up.
Scroll down to learn about a typeface, a story of its creation, historical and typographical contexts, original specimen, technical stuff, and related typefaces — all on one page.
Every typeface has got its unique identity sign generated by overlapping characters set in all the typeface's styles.
Edit text samples by adjusting major typographic alignments, such as typeface style, font size, and letter spacing.
No typeface encyclopedia would be complete without  examples of prominent usages.
Up-to-date information on all type designers and foundries is part of the website.
