An empty space in prime location at the corner of Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm was transformed into a buzzling club scene and event space. On behalf of Greetings Sweden we designed the bar area with backbar, front counter and DJ booth.
The project had a tight deadline and on a small budget. OSB walls painted light grey, plywood bar + DJ booth and footrest/coathangers around the bar from pipe-systems used normally for scaffolding. A huge mirror, wooden laths and a thick coat of clear varnish was used to give this simple construction connotations of a traditional bar.
