Covid-19 - back-up clean-up
Maybe too late for the "trend" but I too have made my own "Covid-19" helper. I present you, Mr.Gently W. I've seen many ads, promotions and animations about the whole pandemic and about the guidelines. Though it's still very relevant and close-by home I wanted to make my "own" version, as you can see its in another style than the minimalistic style trend that's now going on. Though I'm gonna jump on that bandwagon, but in another project! So give it a go to check this cheeky Mario look-a-like in the meanwhile!
Hence a short progress of my character concept, as always I started with a moodboard with existing cleaner logo's. Quite old fashioned, as I wanted to try another vibe than usual. It was a challenge, but during my sketching phrase I already drawn a very good one. Though overall the cleaners in my sketches were still kind of detailled. Less is still more!

Though I already liked the prototypes, I couldn't get it out of my head to make it more minimalism. To make it more "fit in" in this kind of era of illustration trends. I chose the colors green and blue because it associated with "cleaning" with me.
