PAHIN — Sharp & Intricate Serif | 12 Styles

Typography

Pahin is an expressive flared serif that combines sharp forms with intricate contours. Its plasticity is inspired by the graceful curves of stems and flowers, creating vibrant and organic forms. Sharp elements contrast with soft and flowing lines, reminiscent of thorns protecting delicate flowers or fruits. At the same time, Pahin inherits and is based on the tradition of calligraphy.

Pahin is distinguished by an abundance of loops, especially in the alternative set, which resemble, for example, a grapevine. These elements give the typeface freshness, flexibility and naturalness, making it ideal for use in large sizes, where its expressiveness is fully revealed.

Pahin is available in 12 styles, including 6 weights (from Extra Light to Black) and a true italics. A variable file is also available on 2 axes, allowing for smooth switching between italic and roman.

The name of the typeface comes from the Ukrainian word «Пагін», which means "plant shoot".

Equipped with Extended Latin and Ukrainian Cyrillic support.
