When did art change from “baroque” to “classicism”? Which major changes happened concurrent politically? What kind of music was played at that time? What was the spirit of the age? My poster shows greater historical correlations in between politics, art and culture, literature and music.

Motivation: These questions kept me busy until I designed this timeline which displays a brief excerpt of historical relevant events. It emerged from my interest in history and art and a lack of comparable graphics available.
