"The visual narrative of witches embodies the historical oppression of women who challenged societal norms, emphasizing the ongoing fight for justice and gender equality. Through history, women defying traditional roles were labeled witches and relentlessly persecuted, often leading to their death. This portrayal serves as a reminder of women's resilience and rebellion against societal expectations."

PLATES ILLUSTRATION SERIES (SELF INITIATED) // SEP 2023 - JAN 2024
This is a continued project where I explore different aesthetics and topics around ceramics and culture.
Ceramics are a fundamental element of folk traditions and cultural expression, serving as vessels that encapsulate the essence of diverse societies. From ancient rituals to modern crafts, these clay creations embody the stories, beliefs, and aesthetic sensibilities of their makers. Each piece, whether adorned with intricate designs or left in simple elegance, bridges the gap between past and present, offering a tangible connection to heritage and community.

FOLK ILLUSTRATIONS (SELF INITIATED) // JUL 2023 - CURRENT
Drawing from my Ukrainian roots and Portuguese upbringing, I'm passionate about blending abstract and folk art. Born in Ukraine to a Ukrainian family but raised in Portugal after my parents emigrated, I'm deeply connected to both cultures. This dual heritage enriches my work with a unique fusion of influences, driving my exploration of nostalgic visual themes. Immersed in diverse cultures as I travel, I embrace the nostalgic bug within me, delving into rich and evocative artistic expressions. My aim is to bridge the gap between past and present, weaving a tapestry of memories and experiences that reflect the essence of my journey.
