Failing Freedom
Here’s a closer look at some texture and drawing details!
This image was created with the current immigration and border crisis in mind.
These issues really make me think about the hardships one must endure to live comfortably here, and the difficulties someone might face when trying to start a new life from abroad, and that they really can be affected by this no matter where they may come from.
I wanted to keep the integrity of the different textures I was using, particularly rough drawing like with the people or the gritty details in the paper texture of Liberty’s hand.
