"Griffons Around the Matterhorn" is a piece I created as a project as a student. The goal was to create a number of pieces with a similar theme. I chose my theme to be "places with a fantasy twist". Here, for example, I painted the famous Matterhorn mountain from Switzerland and added the fantasy twist of griffons flying about its peak. Created with watercolor; September/October 2019
