MediaHub is a software product company developing an end-to-end IPTV / OTT platform - MediaHub TimeView. They focus on innovative technologies to create a cutting-edge multi-screen solution enhancing each pillar of the streaming business - video processing, storage, distribution, user interface, and user experience.

ElementalTV is the Interactive online TV and content for Bulgarian expats worldwide. The market leader in less than 4 years by offering a multi-screen content-driven platform with excellent customer support.

We were invited by the marketing team of ElementalTV to create a series of short videos with the aim to present the company with a modern and up-to-date video production that gives users useful information in a simple way.

Our engagement started with our discovery sessions that we facilitate with every client and project that we partner up with. This is the phase where we sit down and we dig deeper aiming to know more about who exactly we are speaking with, what is the business, who stands behind the brand, their goals, challenges, and problems as a company.

By following this workshop process we are making sure we target the right problem and respectfully - offer the right strategic & creative decision to our partners. One of the key insights we go out of this phase was:

The video content that ElementalTV had put out so far on the web was outdated and not in line with their branding and desired younger target.

65% of their clients have a hard time setting up the TV devices and this reflects on their customer service team, resulting in a work overload.

Online ads were not giving the desired results with the videos they had so far.

After we have a clear picture of what problems we face, we have a clear direction on how to tackle them. Since we are going forward with video production, the next step after the discovery phase is to structure all the information and turn it into a clear plan for action.

We proceeded forward with the first video that was on the table, developing its baseline - the story & mood boards. Starting like this helps us to get on the same page with the client about the exact structure, timeline, and visual direction of the video. By doing this we make sure everything we produce is meeting the client’s needs and expectations from the beginning of the engagement and also to minimize potentially getting out of the scope.

The first video series above are targeted towards the new customers of ElementalTV as part of their onboarding process once they purchase and receive the setup kit. The main problem here that needed a solution was that a great percent of the customers are people of the 45+ age and are having a hard time setting up the TV system. The goal was to provide a better onboarding experience and to reduce the incoming calls in the customer support center regarding this.

The second video series is made with the purpose of online marketing activities and mainly for social media & google ads & re-targeting campaigns. The target here was mainly people that are not customers yet but have shown interest in such service and the intention of course was to convert them into new customers, along with showcasing the modern and user-friendly interface.
