Mood Check is a mental health organization, and it focuses on common issues that affect young adults. They offer confidential support 24/7 and mental health classes. Mood Check's new project is a social media campaign about Doomscrolling.
Doomscrolling is a new term that describes the tendency to scroll through social media and consume a lot of negative news. This habit creates many physical and mental health issues which include anxiety, depression, and panic. Mood Check wants to inform the public about this issue while offering their services.
In this project, I created character designs, a social media carousel, and other assets. The social media carousel contains a story that explains the negative effects of Doomscrolling, and how to overcome this habit. Also, the last slide of the carousel contains Mood Check's website and national helpline.
