ACES X SPADES
About:
An African luxury brand that designs and manufactures high-end fashion, it was founded in Southern Africa in 2022 by Ntokozo Ntuli. The concept of the brand is to create high-quality clothing that tailors to both minimalism and style.
Brief:
I was commissioned to create a logo in the for of both a mark and type, and then visualise it through different applications.
Solution:
I designed and developed the logo based on the word "spade" as it is the namesake of the brand and within creating the logo, I used two core shapes. The circle and the triangle and within those two shapes, I was able to fuse the word "ace" and that is how I came about with the logo for this brand, as demonstrated below.
I then visualised the entire brand by applying it on items like clothing tags, t-shirt, jackets, business cards, mobile application conceptualisation, and more...
