Abstract
The dot is difficult to decipher it is Single and Whole at the same time. So we, the created are not different from the Creator. We, the lovers are not separate from the Beloved. This unity of being and existence is one and can be reduced to a tiny dot – that has all the answers and comforts we spend our lifetimes attaining. The Point is the starting point of everything and also the ending, from the explosion of the big bang till the day the world ends.
From nothing, something has taken form. From the point, a circle emerges. The existence of the circle proves the existence of the point. My Illustrations begin with the 'dot' and slowly transform into something slightly representational almost like the circle of life, showing continuity, starting with a completely abstract visual and taking form as the poem progresses.
