This is a package design proposal for Jissbon SKYN in China.
SKYN products feature extract lubricant from Hyaluronic acid. It provides a more skin-to-skin and extra lubricated feeling.
After I did some research and surveyed , I summarized some keywords,
Lubricated: Water, Moisturize, Growth
Aqua: Sea, River, Fish, Jellyfish
Love: We have a Chinese saying " 鱼水之欢 （Joy of fish and water）The phrase describes how fishes swim freely and have fun in the water. It refers to the pleasure of intimacy between two couples.

I wanted to create an image that is dynamic, joyful, and a sense of flowing. Blue and green served as background colors. Red, orange, and pink acted as middle and foreground colors. Hence the warm and cool color combination would create visual contrast and enhance a spatial relationship.
I designed the illustration around the existing logo template provided by the company. I set two focal points for the whole image. One focal point was on the lower center on the front side of the box, and the other one was on the back. I tried to set all the plants, fishes, and jellyfishes flowing towards the focal points, and I arranged them to leave space for the text.
On the front side of the box, two fishes play with each other. A flower grows into a heart shape looking like two folding hands. The hands hold a silhouette of two kissing couples. I want to make the kissing more sutle, so this scene is hidden under the logo. Audiences can have a better view of this on the main poster.
On the backside of the box, two fishes chase the water bubbles. A flower comes out of the mouth of one fish. The flowers bloom and flow among the wavy plants. The golden jellyfishes swim around, and their tails are gently flowing with the water. Both the jellyfishes and mushrooms collect and contain eggs in their body. They try to keep a safe love environment. The flowing ribbons go through everything. They are the representation of time.
