A freelance graphic design project for a contemporary dance show based in Hong Kong, the concept behind this show is telling the story of life circle, how everything, everyone and every decision is under the loop of a never-ending life cycle, we humans live in a world with orders, patterns and repetition, how can we break through the loop and find freedom and peace within?
The use of 0, o, circles and the annual ring is the representation of the loop of life cycle, a simple, consistent, minimalist style of modern contemporary design. And in the design of the annual ring, the hand-drawn version with rough cuts and messy lines to represent the imperfections in life and humanity.
