The Behance Network has been selected as a Finalist in the 11th Annual SXSW Interactive Festival Web Awards. The Behance Network was nominated and is a finalist for the "Community" category, described as the following: "Sites and wikis that have quickly developed an extraordinarily active multi-user community and an exceptional following of users who assist with content development."

Only five sites, out of many hundreds of nominations, are selected as finalists for what is widely known as one of the most exciting awards in the interactive/online world. More than anything else, this award recognizes the amazing creative professionals that use the Behance Network platform to disseminate their work. The Behance team feels honored to "be along for the ride," and we will keep you posted on the outcome!

SXSW had some insightful interactive panels this year. SXSW 2009 is just around the corner... I'd love to see a panel on the Action Method and/or Behance in general. Your team would be a great fit.

Thoughts? Crank up the heat on those back burners and let's pencil it in.

You certainly have my vote, although I "should" vote for the site that made it to the list here at 2Advanced.

Behance has been a factor in motivating me to take action on new and exciting things. Keep up the work!

Fantastic. Congratulations. I am proud to be a part of such an exciting website. Hopefully I can get my portfolio in better shape as time goes on, perhaps through Mozilla, insteat of Safari. Jaquith
