This series of Valentines Day Cards were designed to be passed from person to person as a way to spread love throughout my college community by encouraging alternative displays of love then the typical romantic version that the holiday embodies. The front of the cards feature depictions of different expressions of love. 

The first card of the series displays an anonymous woman proudly sporting her natural hairstyle and bold lipstick. The second card shows two friends casually expressing the the love they have for each other through a fist bump. The last card depicts a friend showing their love by helping someone up who has fallen or asked for help.

While these depictions are evident at first glance, a closer look reveals multiple expressions and definitions of love hidden within the psychedelic background of the cards. In order, they read "Love is confident", "Love is Expressive", and "Love is trippy".

The back of each card gave each recipient a task: to add an illustration of something or someone they loved, then pass the card on to a friend to do the same. Through this method, these cards passed throughout the student body of Georgetown, spreading love on Valentines Day! By including my instagram at the bottom, I was able to see the progression of the card as it passed throughout the community, with each person adding to it.
