Rebranding Golden Mile Complex

Golden Mile Complex was completed in 1973, formerly known as Woh Hup Complex. Sited on 13 hectares, built to a height of 16 storeys, with 500 parking spaces and 411 shops, it is an enthic enclave for the Thai population. Inside you can find Thai clubs, shops and eateries. It was designed as a module in an idealistic vision for the urban development of Kallang basin in the form of a megastructure.

The Golden Mile refers to the strip of land between Nicoll Highway and Beach Road. Together with the offices and apartments above, and foreigners arriving by bus, the building is a hodgepodge of cultures. The positive mixture of people within such a visionary design has led to global recognition of Golden Mile Complex’s success as a work of architecture.

Inspired by the colours of Golden Mile Complex when the mustard colours are the most prominent in the day and reddish-orange colour appears when the nightlife at the basement comes alive, the logo of Golden Mile Complex was rebranded to incorporate the rising sun and setting sun in its respective colours.
