Every graphic designer relishes the opportunity to design their own wedding invitations. It’s an opportunity to showcase your work to your friends & family. Unfortunately, designing for yourself always seems to be more difficult than anticipated.
My wonderful fiancé (now my wife!) asked me to create whimsical invitations for our wedding. After several uninspiring design iterations, she convinced me to use the cartoon characters that I created for us: Putten & Grizzles.
Putten & Grizzles is the adventures of an old, set-in-his-ways grizzly bear, and a young, energetic, hybrid kitten-puppy. The tale follows these two unlikely companions through their many wild misadventures, often mimicking adventures from our real life.
Their next adventure: Marriage.
