O-H-I-O 10,000th Photo Commemorative Poster

In spring of 2012, I along with some classmates were commisioned by a past instructor to work for the Ohio State Communications Office to create a commemorative poster that marked the 10,000th photo uploaded to OSUs O-H-I-O photo of the day page.

The vertical poster underwent various iterations, two of which are shown here. The poster maps some of the hundreds of locations across the globe where O-H-I-O photos have been taken and then submitted to the web-site. You can see the site by visiting, http://www.osu.edu/O-H-I-O/

Ohio State MFA Scott Denison, with undergrads Mike Booher, Austin Scott, Kristen Wright, Julliet Portische, Lisa Hays, and Gauri Garg.
Preimenary mock up of eary ideations.

One iteration that that was made it to the final round was a ploroid floor based wall with the quote "Where will you take O-H-I-O" The Text is supposed to look suspended by string and the poloroid base is made from actual printed versions of lik 50 random O-H-I-O pictures that were from the site.
The photos were laid out, photographed, then stitched together in PS
Final concept that didn't get used...

The final concept was very elegant, and turned out quite wonderfully.
