A documentary director who for years follows the routes of migrants to tell their vicissitudes falls into a profound existential and creative crisis. The assumptions that motivated him suddenly disappear. Overwhelmed by the suspicion that the phenomenon that he felt urgent to tell in first person was only one of the manifestations of something much bigger and in which not only those specific people but the whole human race were involved, he decided to stop. During this silence, a meeting takes place that will soon lead him to study astrophysics and to go into the depths of the cosmos with the same tools he had used in years of travel.
