Illustrations for the Schiaparelli Spring 2019 Couture Collection

The collection I saw the image of a kind of Alice in Wonderland, adult women open to the study of the fantastic world. So I tried to create an areola in which girls explore its flora and fauna. Moodboard was the work of Haeckel from Kunstformen der Natur on the love of nature and graphics.
A key element of the collection concept is the game and freedom, an ironic naivety that refers to the trend of the camp.

My interpretation of the men's D&G and women's Marni spring-summer looks, filled with imposing Italian patterns, retro-flora and leopard print.
It seemed to me that a combination of colorful patterns with massive flowers was appropriate - I have such an association with tropical vacation and these two collections. The illustration is made in the style of a magnificent baroque bas-relief with flowers revived by a couple in their hands.
3d models made in Zbrush, than rendered and animated in Blender and finally combined with drawing which was made in Photoshop.

The organics by Iris Van Herpen lay on the theme with the mermaids perfect.
The Ukrainian mermaid is a frighteningly cheerful dead woman (because she grieves in her soul). She also "is a symbol of the beauty of the water element."
And the Aeriform collection explores the contrasts of water and air, the nature of light and dark.
"I’m doubly fascinated: I feel so free in the water – and at the same time I feel a slight hint of terror. Water is a fantastically exciting element because of its dual nature." - Leila Skovmand, Between Music.
