Il était une fois mon chien was created by Valérie Gehin, a dog lover who decided to help humans understand dogs better. She is also a dog sitter and meets with humans having troubles with their furry best friends. She helps them understanding each other, and having the best friendship.
Having a cute and cartoon-ish illustration as a logo helps with seeing the whole adventure of having a dog more dreamy and simple, because it is ! Also, we decided to represent two dog's breeds that usually are seen as impressive and/or agressive. Drawing these dogs this way allows us to go beyond the clichés and stereotypes and show people these dogs with a brand new look.
The red bag is actually a very important part : It is the exact same bag that Valérie brings with her when she meets with clients and dogs. We wanted a very specific and recognizable tool that is also a reference with Mary Poppins.
