FIRE is part of a series thematic headlines, brought to life with visually highly realistic typographic treatments, featuring physically damaged type, showing the impact a series of unexpected events could have on a business. A business is a labour of love and for most, a data breach, a riot or a flood could spell bankruptcy. The idea was to open the conversation with a real, but uncomfortable possibility: that all the hard work could be lost due to an unexpected event. Extreme weather, fire, widespread hacking, civil unrest — it can all affect business, and small businesses are on the frontline of it all.
