When I read recently about CSS Zen Garden's 10-year anniversary I decided to prepare a redesign concept of its logo.

 

I wanted to remind to the original one, but at the same time I've tried to achieve more minimalistic (almost metro-like) design.

The red wrapper (#D13939) is inspired by oriental seal imprint, which was commonly used to secure important documents.

 

I've also prepared anniversary symbol:

Cross inside the seal is a Shí symbol - which means 10 or decade in traditional chinese. Color of the seal is #BCB696.
