21 Days of #MakeGoogleDoIt

They say it takes 21 days to build a habit. To establish the familiarity of the Google Home and get our influencers to use it more often, we created an advent calendar of 21 days - filled with personalized gifts and customized commands for them to use with their device.

So what I did was... Create 21 queries which were personalized to 60 different influencers. These queries revolved around their schedules, their professions, their family and pets, the city they lived in, the events they attended, their hobbies, their home chores - and it showed them how the Google Home could help them every step of the way. (The project did involve a lot of stalking of their social profiles.) 

Working with the events team, we created fun magnets that had these queries printed on them, along with a mix of 4-5 small trinkets and gifts of things they loved with the query attached to them. All of this was compiled in a large 21-day advent calendar, which we encouraged the influencers to open one on each day (of course they couldn't wait and ended up opening all the tiny pockets all at once) but we did get a lot of social conversations and lots of brand love around this. 

Here are some examples of the queries we customized. The first one was for Alicia Souza, a well-known cartoonist, stationery-lover and illustrator. The second is an example of queries for Bhuvan Bam. You probably know who he is. 
Alicia Souza's husband is George. Charlie is one of her beloved pets (the other one being Henry-Oats, her hamster)
Some of the queries personalized for Bhuvan Bam - a person who's talked about conditioner more than a beauty blogger. Rahul is his manager and friend.
