This school was affectionately known as the "Harry Potter School". It was originally designed with lots of natural light, great detailing and a good sense of space. Throughout the years it was slowly modified to become much more enclosed and really lacked its original purpose.
The goal of our renovation and addition of this elementary and middle school was to bring this place back to life and also give them spaces that conformed to the new education specifications. The final design added 2 gymnasiums, created 2 courtyards within the building, a new middle school wing of classrooms - while recognizing the existing rhythm of the building structure.
