Israel Adesanya improved his undefeated MMA record to 18-0 by stopping UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker via TKO in Round 2, handing Whittaker his first loss at 185 lbs and becoming the 13th fighter in UFC history to win an undisputed title with an undefeated record. His 18 fight win streak is the longest among active Middleweights and third longest among all UFC fighters. Taking only 18 months and 7 fights in the UFC to become champion, Izzy proved, from the walkout and the fight, that he is just a level above the rest.
