A brief that we were given for this module, was a live brief for IMRAM (Irish Language Literature Festival 2018). We were asked to choose one poem from the selection of Irish poems that we were give, these poems were by the poets Áine Durkin and Gabriel Rosenstock. We were to choose a poem that resonated with us in some way. The poem that I chose was "In Am" by Áine Durkin.
The goal of this brief was to stage a moving-image/audio visual screening of typographically interpreted Irish language literature texts. These movies could be no more than 2 minutes in duration and could only contain Irish type, if type was necessary, it depended on the person's interpretation.
The final screening for IMRAM consisted of all of our short audio visual interpretations, put together, to create a film. The screening of this project was in Bí Urban in StoneyBatter, Dublin. It was for our class, lecturers, the public, the Poets and Liam Carson (Director of IMRAM) to see.
