IMRAM WATERCOLOUR ANIMATION
This brief was given to us by Imram, the Irish Language Literary Festival. The brief asked us to pick from the given Irish poems and create a short video on your interpretation. My interpretation of my chosen poem, which had the line 'Arms wide open, catching nothing' was that it was about a lonely scarecrow with it's arms wide open looking for a hug, catching nothing. To portray this I created a watercolour animation which can be seen below. The animation shows the loneliness of the scarecrow as a bird passes, coming so close to contact with the scarecrow, only to keep going on.
