365 Icons. One icon a day.

A few words about the project...

Why icons? Why 365? Well, why not? That’s our usual approach to all things. Despite that, though, why 365? Because to us, this is a kind of a diary. Every day, for a whole year, we come up with a story, which then we turn into an icon. Some stories are real, some are only real in our minds. Why icons? Because we love them. They’re simple, clear and fun. Why do we combine words with pictures? Because we think that combination is magical!

...and just a few more about the creators; Ti tou Leipei

Titou Leipei it’s a pun that sounds like a name but actually means “what’s missing” in Greek. We are 2 girls that have everything, including countless ideas, one more stupid than the next. So, what is missing from us? Nothing, except the ability of being serious, discrete, aware of space and time and the capability of successfully communicating with others. That’s why our name is a name well deserved. Besides, in every creation, there is a time in the process when you know: there’s something missing. Unfortunately, you never know at that point what that something is. So, the question remains: What’s missing?
Ermina is a photographer who set out to study Sociology, but ended up studying Photography & Audio-visual Arts instead. She then attended a variety of subjects, from Philosophy seminars to Human-Computer Interaction workshops. Once she started writing stories, she couldn’t stop. She has an excellent communication with her cat and when she’s not drinking beer, she’s thinking about drinking beer.
Maria (oh...that's me) studied Multimedia and Graphic Arts, but she loves illustration, character design, cats and chocolates, not necessarily in that order. She can keep playing arcade games for all eternity, which is not a very bad idea, since she believes aliens will one day invade the earth. She also claims she can prove it.
