Between March and June 2012, during the Laboratorio di Progetto della Comunicazione Visiva at Politecnico di Milano, I did a group project based on a brief from AMSA (Milan waste collection company). We were engaged to develop a one-minute-long ad focused on recycling glass bottles.
Our video plays with the viewer's emotions, moving continuously from the negative to the positive side of recyclable glass, thus creating an emotional crescendo.
The video, to point out the differences in mood, was shot both on location (negative side) and in studio (positive side); this allowed us to shoot glass fragments as crystals and give back the dystopian feeling of a polluted street. The mood was enhanced with post-production. The brief also included the design of a poster.
GLASS IS FOREVER
