THE AWAKENING OF AZATHOTH
This was an interesting piece to do - capturing the real essence of the terrible beings that Lovecraft created, as an bunch of guys you would find at a bar playing music was kind of fun. I had thought of creating something Lovecraft inspired ever since I read The call of Cthulhu, and indeed the cosmic horror has even managed to slip into many of the drawings I make outside of the genre! Edit: Sorry everyone, trying to flip the images the correct way is like trying to part the sea without Moses. Trying to get it fixed. :p
Final version of my Lovecraftian Orchestra, featuring terrifying deities such as Hastur, Cthulhu, and Jimi Hendrix. This was my art final for 9th grade - to say that I took a while to finish it would be an understatement. I was still working on in the passing period before it was due!
