From the 24th to the 25th of July, 2011 the festival „nation of gondwana“ takes place in grüneberg near berlin.
For the free space next to the dancefloor a sculpture of 5 m shall be constructed out of timber slats, illuminated by the host to serve as landmark on the festival area. To build the tower there are 1.000 m of roof lathes (38*58*3.000 mm) and as fastener nails and cable ties available.
The sculpture is not accessible for festival-audience. Wind forces as well as loads, emerging from persons during the installation and cutback, are to be kept in mind.
