How to Troubleshoot Wireless and Bluetooth Keyboard Issues on Windows
Having trouble with your Wireless or Bluetooth keyboard? Where wireless keyboards are convenient and easy to use, connecting them to a device is a little tricky. But, don’t worry, if you’re facing problems with your wireless or Bluetooth keyboard, apply these solutions.


Here is how to troubleshoot wireless and Bluetooth issues on Windows.
1.    Refresh the connection
2.    Check and replace the Batteries
3.    Reset the device
4.    Verify the connection connections
5.    Install important updates
6.    Check and change the location
Refresh the connection
You can refresh wireless connection by doing the following things,
1.    Press the button of the wireless transceiver.
2.    Then press the Connect button on the device.
This way, you can also connect other Microsoft wireless devices to your computer.
Check and replace the Batteries
If the device has rechargeable batteries:
If the device you’re using is rechargeable, then check if it is charged. You may also see a low battery-warning message by the device or software. So, try charging the device fully. This may take around an hour to charge the device completely. If charging the device will not work and still, a low battery-warning message appears, then you may need to change the batteries. If the device has non-rechargeable batteries:
For these devices, make sure the batteries are inserted correctly in the device and are of the correct type. For more information, about the right cells and device, check the device guide. You can also try replacing the batteries with a new one.
If still the issue persists, try out the other given solutions.
Reset the device
Resetting a device is simple; you can reset a device by using the power switch or by removing and replacing its batteries.
•    Most devices have a power switch if yours also have it. Press the power button to power it off. Once it shut down, press the power button once again to power back it on.
•    If the batteries of the device are removable, then you can also remove and reinsert them to reset the device. Make sure to place the cells correctly.
Verify the connections
Make sure that the connection between the transceiver and computer is correct. To verify and correct the connection, disconnect the transceiver, and connect it again. Here is how.
Disconnect the transceiver and connect it again:
1.    Unplug the wireless transceiver.
2.    After a few seconds, plug in back.
3.    If the transceiver is connected to a USB hub, you can unplug the hub and plug in again.
Plug the transceiver into another port of the computer:
•    If you any free USB port available on your PC, then try plugging the wireless transceiver into that.
•    If the transceiver is connected to the USB hub:
1.    Make sure the hub you’re using is a powered hub. A powered hub is suitable for high-power USB devices.
2.    Try to use the wireless transceiver without a hub, insert the transceiver directly into the USB port of your PC.
3.   Try changing the USB port of the hub, insert it into a different one.
Install important updates
Download the latest updates for Windows and device. Updates help in to fix the many small and big issues. Here is how to check for updates on Windows 7 & 8.1.
1.    Open the run box, by using ‘Windows + R’ button.
2.    Search for ‘Control Panel.’
3.    Select ‘OK.’
4.    In the control panel, go to ‘System and Security.’
5.    Then choose ‘Windows Update.’
6.    Now, install all the important updates, and all updates related to hardware.
In Windows 10, if you’re connected to the internet, then it will automatically download all the essential update.
Check and Change the location
For wireless devices and connection, positions also influence the connection.
•    Make sure the wireless device and transceiver are closer to each other.
•    Make sure gadgets like telephones, microwave, remote control toys, are away from the device.
