The NSERC Canadian Field Robotics Network (NCFRN) brings together academic, government, and industrial robotics researchers to develop collaborative robots that can work in outdoor environments.

Taking inspiration from some of the most iconic Canadian logos from the golden era of the 1960s and 1970s, the logo brings in elements of the different environments in which NCFRN's research takes place. In lieu of mountains, gears roll over the horizon.
