Dorset Canada logo

Dorset is located in the beautiful landscape of Muskoka in Ontario, Canada surrounded by forest and straddling the Dorset Channel, which connects the Big and Little Trading Bay. The water, its century-old bridge, and the soaring cliff behind them were the key elements included in the logo redesign for Dorset.

Influenced by the shape of a camp badge (a nod to the nearby renowned Algonquin Park) and simple curves, the new logo celebrates the view of Dorset from the marina. This is the point where countless boats have docked and launched. The bridge connects to the two halves of Dorset and was once a popular spot for teens to jump from in the warmer months to the water below. The hillside beyond is the home to the Dorset Lookout Tower, which stands 465 feet (142) above Lake of Bays and offers a 360° view of phenomenal natural beauty.

Essentially this design brings together water, land, air, and nostalgia into a perfect symbol for a wonderful place.
