For this project I was instructed to create a postcard series using a unique style and my inspiration for this project is artist Ghica Popa. I turned some of my favorite sneakers into vehicles in a geometric fashion. I first drew the sneakers out on paper and then scanned them into illustrator. Once in Illustrator I traced each shoe panels using the pen tool. I ended up many more shapes to bring the piece together. Each piece took around 4 hours to complete due to its complexity. For the backgrounds I took an accent color from the shoe and it really made the piece pop.
