Family Crest

Introduction

This project that I made represents the legacy of the Schaub family. I came up with the idea by talking to my family about what represents the name Schaub. Some things we talked about is that we have seven people in our family. We also talked about how we were Jewish and that the Schaub name is German. Also most of my family lives in Arizona so I wanted to incorporate that into the design somehow.

Everyone said that my baseball in my second image looked out of sync with the rest of my shield. I ended up in my final draft changing the baseball to a fishing rod so it would match with the rest of my shield. Also another comment that I got was that my picture was too colorful so I decided to change that in my final copy.

Presentation

This family crest was inspired by what represent my family and I. The first thing that came to my head when I thought of my family is Arizona. All of my relatives live in Arizona so that's why I put the cactuses and the sunset. I also included 7 cactuses to represent the seven people that are apart of my family. I also put the menorah because my family comes from a Jewish background. The last thing i put was a fishing rod. I included this because my family loves to go outdoors and I personally love to fish.
