Poem by Neil Gaiman

I was inspired by the poem 'Nicholas Was...' by Neil Gaiman and knew that it would make a suitably creepy Christmas film. I wanted to play with the handmade feel of other Christmas animations, while using imagery we'd be more familiar with from horror films. The whole piece was created in After Effects and Illustrator, with paper textures used to give the cut-out effect.
