I was inspired by this quote from Matt Haig's 'Reasons to Stay Alive' and wanted to make a short video piece to accompany it. The book jacket has a simple, eye-catching design; a curling line with a rainbow gradient weaving between the title of the book. I decided that the cover design should act as inspiration for my video; simple and clean, with a spark of flowing colour.
