Para o desenvolvimento do conceito da identidade Brita Real, foi levado em consideração o contexto que envolve a produção das pedras, suas características agressivas, fortes e mecânicas. Assim como as características das próprias pedras, em sua rigidez, frieza e dureza.
O grão é o aspecto mais importante em uma pedra, pois ele delimita suas características químico-físicas e funcionais. Ao observarmos um viés macro, as pedras britas variam em diferentes granulometrias e tamanhos. Já no viés micro, as pedras são compostas por diferentes estruturas de formação baseado em grãos.
O objetivo da marca era ser simples e de fácil reprodução. O quadrado preto simboliza a simplificação máxima de um grão. As formas duras e retas presentes na identidade visual e em todos os seus elementos traçam o paralelo com a engenharia e a construção. A tipografia conta com características que contribuem para a estética forte e brutalista desejada. O estilo de fotografia e os grafismos reforçam o conceito através das texturas das pedras.
The environment of the stone’s production gave us inspiration on aggressive, strong and mechanical characteristics. And in the other hand the characteristics of the rocks itself contributed for the concept with rigidity, coldness and hardness. Those characteristics led us for the concept development of Brita Real’s identity.
The grain is the most important aspect of a rock, because it delineates its functional and physical-chemical characteristics. Analyzing in macro aspects, the crushed stones vary in different sorts of grain sizes and dimensions. Meanwhile if we analyze in micro aspects, the stones are formed by different structures all based on grain particles.
The brand objective was to be simple, easy and practical on its reproducibility. The black square symbolize the maximum simplification of a grain. The hard and straight shapes present on the visual identity and in all its application draws a parallel with engineering and civil construction. The typography chosen sustain the linear, strong and brutalist aesthetics wanted. The photography style and graphics reinforce the grain concept through stone texture.
