Webrackets naming is a result of two words concatenation: web & brackets (double b is merged). It is company personal tribute for the things their employee loves to do: design web applications and code.

 

Actually the Webrackets logo itself is built from two brackets signs < > which are most often used during front-end development to mark HTML tags in layout files

 

When color palette was created, the main goal was to achive truly fresh & friendly look of the company - I didn’t want to create another random IT brand with light blue branding colors (there are hundreds of them!) - so I decided that choosing emerald color is the best - btw. did You know that this color has got a ‘Color of the Year 2013’ title from Pantone? :)
